In July 2020, VMSI was awarded a contract to continue to provide Professional and Information Technology (IT) support services to the Gulf Coast Ecosystem Restoration Council (GCERC), Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO). The GCERC was established by Congress as part of the Resources and Ecosystems Sustainability, Tourist Opportunities, and Revived Economies of the Gulf Coast States Act of 2012 (RESTORE Act) to help restore the ecosystem and economy of the Gulf Coast region after the Deepwater Horizon disaster. VMSI is proud to serve such a great cause, helping to truly restore nature to its beautiful, intended state.

VMSI personnel provide an array of professional and business process services to assist GCERC grant and program teams with financial assistance functions and activities. Our duties include providing support for the Council’s electronic grants management system, providing help desk services for both GrantSolutions and the Council’s Program Information Platform for Ecosystem Restoration (PIPER) internal and external users, and providing training services to internal and external users of both systems. Additionally, our personnel serve as the technical POCs for DATA Act/USASpending activities, develop financial assistance guidance and documentation, and perform a broad range of tasks in support of daily operations.

VMSI looks forward to continuing to provide unparalleled support services to the GCERC!
