VMSI Awarded Contract via GSA TAPS Schedule for Organization Design and Development Support to General Service Administration

The General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service (PBS), Mid-Atlantic Region (3) is in the process of reviewing their organizational and position structures due to an increase in responsibilities, i.e. bringing new inventory into the region. As a result they have been tasked with additional responsibilities tied to acquisition vehicles, data management and program management.

Along with the Office of Human Resources Management (OHRM), GSA Region 3 will be working with each business unit to review and analyze their current mission, functions, workload and processes.

VMSI has been brought in under our partner’s (Quality Management Services) BPA to provide Subject Matter Expertise to GSA OHRM for their organizational design and development requirements. Our goal is to determine the skills mix and organizational design necessary to accomplish objectives, culminating in a new regional organizational structure and staffing plan.

Tasks to be completed during the contract include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Initial Strategy/Kick-Off Meeting Requirements Development Meetings Organizational Discussions
  • Written Business Case Organizational Charts Staffing Plan
  • Draft Regional Order
  • Draft Position Descriptions Closeout Meeting
