VMSI is excited to announce that the Senior Acquisition Leadership Training (SALT) Program at the VA Acquisition Academy (VAAA) was among the 2019 Leadership Excellence and Development (LEAD) Awardees! Our team members have dedicated a significant amount of time and energy to ensure the success of SALT and it shows!

The LEAD Awards are a way to celebrate internal development and training programs implemented by Corporate, Government and Educational organizations.  A variety of organizations are encouraged to nominate their own training programs for this prestigious award under a variety of categories and the winners are determined by feedback from those who have completed the specific training programs.

The VA Acquisition Academy received recognition in the Winner’s Circle for their accomplishments with the SALT Program in the following two categories:

• Best Use of Classroom/Traditional Training
• Best Mentoring Program

The Winner’s Circle is made up by those training programs which comprise the top 10% of nominees and the VAAA SALT Program has proven its quality from stellar program graduates’ feedback!  We are proud of each VMSI team member who provides extensive support to the creation and implementation of the program and we are thrilled for their recent recognition!
