VMSI is thrilled to donate $5,000.00 as the “Medal of Honor” Sponsor at this year’s Wearing Of The Green Annual 5-K Fundraiser!! This event raised over $30,000 and all proceeds went toward furthering the wonderful work of Boulder Crest Retreat (BCR) for Military and Veteran Wellness!

VMSI excitedly partook in this event on Sunday, March 29th, where approximately 320 participants walked, jogged and sprinted through the streets of beautiful Old Town Warrenton. During the awards ceremony, Emily Wilson, a Senior Project Analyst with VMSI, presented our donation to Ken Falke, Founder of Boulder Crest Retreat. Once the sponsors had been thanked and Ken Falke spoke about the mission of Boulder Crest Retreat, Laurie Entright and Ken Falke awarded medals to the top male and female in each age group as well as the ‘Greenest Runner’!!

VMSI strongly supports events hosted by Molly’s Irish Pub which benefit BCR and we extend a huge THANK YOU to pub owner, Laurie Entright, for serving our country as a Combat Veteran with 12 tours! We are very excited to be part of their next fundraising adventure –stay tuned for more details!!
